Guillotine

BKC Director James Mickens, along with Sarah Radway and Ravi Netravali, treat advanced AI as potentially rogue actors. They propose "Guillotine, a hypervisor architecture designed to sandbox powerful AI models." Guillotine would function as a digital containment chamber—air-gapped, hardware-enforced, and equipped with fail-safes, similar to the containment structures used in nuclear power plants.
